Maximilian Prüfer: Fruits of Labor

 

Contributing co-author of the essay entitled, "Parable of the Bees" with Jacob Dreyer. 

​

Prüfer’s oeuvre documents human intervention in nature during the Anthropocene. It illustrates natural processes that now must be taken on by humans. In doing so, he addresses ecological issues that refer, amongst other things, to developments in 1950s and 1960s China. This publication provides insight into this artistic exploration through essays, an interview, exhibition views, and photo series of Prüfer’s works.
